it is. i swear i posted a blog connecting the dots. but i can't find it now. corn subsidies and cane sugar tariffs beget corn syrup aka fructose which is metabolized directly to fat instead of to blood sugar like cane sugar aka glucose. but wait there's more. the stuff never triggers that full tummy feeling. so you eat more.
