Bush had nothing to do with it. It was just the oil company executives suddenly got less greedy.
Or maybe the Republicans were lowering the gas prices to try and win the election. And they kept dropping them because...uh...because they are afraid the Democrats will slap their Big Oil friends with windfall taxes.

I beg to differ. When the Gas Prices shot up over $4.00 a gallon the MSM told me it was Pres. Bush's fault.
So the prices going down must be the same.
