Beware the Fairy of the Teeth!

Connor has been loosing baby teeth, as expected. What is unexpected is the lack of parental participation in dentile extraction or agglomeration. Typically when your offspring loose teeth the tradition is to place said tooth under a pillow for a nocturnal visit of fairy folk who bring compensation. We rarely find any of Connors teeth, As often the case with Connor. He has his own path.

It was hot dog and Beans night. Connor was enjoying his hot dog when he stopped and spit out a tooth. He had quite a few things to say about the tooth and blood (small little bits). He had to hold it in his hand a few times. Finally he went back to eating.

Tina, was happy to finally have one of his teeth in hand. She had a little zip-lock holder and later that evening showed it to Connor. Offering the tradition of putting it under his pillow.

To which Connor responded "Put the Tooth in the trash Mom. No Fairy!"

It seems as though the late evening activity of fictional beings has an unnerving effect on our little guy. In retrospect I cannot say I disapprove, it actually seems quite prudent.

Autistic kids can be pragmatic.

ROFL...never a dull moment. Even from afar, watching Conner grow up is one of those things that truly brings joy to life.
