March 20, 2011

The global average sea surface temperature plot, shown through March 17, 2011. SSTs remain below normal. The trend line is close to zero, so still no sign of “global warming” having resumed.

You ignorant fool! Don't you knoow the models all predict very little warming now, but in 10 years, global warming really starts to take off!

Of course, 20 years ago they were saying the same thing. In 10 years, the warming will really begin. But we have learned so much more since then. Surely they couldn't be wrong this time?
