Prez. Elect. Obama must have had them change the site (I wonder why?) now the 'required' is gone and the Students get $40.00 an hour for volunteering. This means 100 hours hits the $4000.00 cap which is applicable towards collage.

Volunteer –noun
1. a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking.
2. a person who performs a service willingly and without pay.
Er.. yeah. If the government is requiring you to work 50 to 100 hours for no pay, that's not actually volunteering.
And the kids that drop out of school---how much voluntold time are they required? What is the expense of administering all these 'Corps'? Or is there a 'Corps corps' your can participate in?
Actually, if he could start with people getting unemployment, that's good by me. You are getting money from the government, and you should have enough time between looking for work to do something to do something beneficial in return.
Kind of like community service, only you don't have to sleep in a jail at the end of the day :P
