Comparing bible peoples.

Governor Palin, in her speech and the convention, spoke of the responsibilities of an elected position in contrast to a community organizer. This has been really skewed to the point of bizarre. The entire point being made was about experience for the position.

The most mutated outcry I have heard is this: “Jesus was a community organizer. Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

This role of community organizer is one I have never really paid attention too. So I did some looking to see what Obama did in this role. He worked for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). ACORN has a very colorful history, they get nearly half their funding from our tax dollars and use it for various activities such as obtain mortgages for illegal aliens, and voter fraud. http://www.consumersrightsleague.org/

So ACORN is liberal activists, with some radicals thrown into the mix. I have no doubt that there is a part of this organization that does good. Obama while there worked under the protégé’s of one Saul Alinsky to quote the Washington post Obama was hired to “organize black residents on the South Side, while learning and applying Alinsky's philosophy of street-level democracy.”

Saul was a radical of the nth degree. He even wrote Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals. It is pretty easy for me to see the evolution from Radical, to the much more politically correct doublespeak of Community organizer while reading up on good old Saul. I dare say Saul would see no difference between Radical and Community Organizer as far as naming.

More interesting is his dedication in the book. “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer” – Saul Alinsky

So Lucifer was a community organizer…
