Life, Liberty, Health Care and pursuit of happiness.

Health care as a Right. I am not sure of the origin of that concept, other then some way of making an argument more provocative.

I am not sure that it is up there in important. There is a mandate that Emergency Rooms see to it that certain health issues are handled despite ability to pay.

So I am pondering what other items are more needed as a right. Food and shelter as a right? After air that is next on the needs list.

How about the Right for transportation? There is really a need to get from point A to point B for employment, food and shelter.

The Right to adequate clothing? It kind of goes with shelter, in some climates it is survival.

It becomes difficult to keep this on a serious tract. As now I am thinking of things like; the right to be safe.

How 'bout Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness??
Life, unless of course you will be an inconvenience, or 'burden on the mother' as Barack put it.
Liberty, but only sexual. Every other liberty must be regulated.
Pursuit of Happiness, but if you decide to step up and work hard in that pursuit, be willing to get taxed so the government can equally distribute that happiness among those not fortunate enough to be born with drive and determination
