So, I was reading a friend of mines blog about how screwed we are no matter how the mortgage mess is resolved, then I had a brilliant idea.
This is very win win. Currently, the congress has 100 senators and 434 congress peoples. Their total yearly salary is $ 90,575,500.00.
So, what we do is have Congress pay off the troubled mortgage principal and gives the deed to whomever used to be paying the bank. This is then deducted from the salary across the board.
The taxpayer is about as removed from this as they can get. The guys get houses (home ownership is good) the banks get their money back (Money to bank is good).
